Event workspace

The event workspace is FieldXM’s shared record for a single event, holding its basics, objectives, roster, booth shifts, travel, shipping, and readiness in one place for the team working the show.

Before a show, your plan often sits in a kickoff doc, a spreadsheet, and a chat channel. The workspace keeps it in one record, so your pre-show plan stays current as your team works the show.

“It’s pretty manual and gross right now.”

What goes into it?

  • Setup from a URL: paste the event’s website, and FieldXM’s event tracker reads the dates, venue, location, and agenda off it, expo hall hours included when the site lists them, and files the exhibitors and speakers into your account graph. It keeps checking the site and updates the event when anything changes.
  • Your team’s plan: objectives, the roster, booth shifts, travel, and shipping, the core of event logistics.
  • The CRM link: link the event to its HubSpot marketing event or Salesforce campaign.
  • The attendee list: import the organizer’s file, or build a list in FieldXM. Every row carries a label for its source.

How does it show readiness?

Each event shows you one signal, On track or Needs attention. FieldXM rolls it up from the show’s milestones, such as the team roster, attendee list, account owners, and the link to the event in your CRM. See event readiness. The command center gives you the daily view across every active event.
