On-device transcription

On-device transcription is speech-to-text processing that runs on the phone doing the recording, producing a live transcript while the conversation is still happening.

The transcript is the raw material for everything after it. Structured extraction turns it into lead fields, so when the transcript gets names, companies, and details right, your lead records come out right.

Why run it on the device?

  • Your reps work on crowded show-floor networks, and running on the phone keeps the transcript moving with the conversation.
  • Your rep can glance at the live text to confirm a name or a detail before the prospect walks away.

What has to happen before it starts?

A recording disclosure. Your rep tells the prospect, in a sentence, that an AI note-taker will record and transcribe the conversation. Then speaker separation keeps the prospect’s lines apart from your rep’s.

Where do you find it in FieldXM?

When your rep records in the FieldXM mobile app, they see a live transcript that runs on the phone. Speaker separation labels the prospect’s lines and your rep’s, and identifies no one. Then FieldXM fills in the lead fields and notes for your rep.
