Offline capture
Offline capture is the ability to record leads and notes on a mobile device with no network connection, holding each capture in a queue until the signal returns and it can sync.
Expo halls make your reps fight for a signal, with crowded cell networks and overloaded venue wifi. If your capture tool needs a connection, it fails right when a conversation is worth keeping.
What goes wrong without it?
What your rep heard goes missing on the way to your CRM. The FieldXM thesis describes an executive conversation that never reached the CRM, in part because the notes failed to upload over expo-hall wifi. That’s a capture failure the network caused.
What should offline capture do for your reps?
- Works with no connection while your rep scans, types, and records.
- Keeps each capture on the device until it can sync.
- Syncs when the signal returns, so your rep never re-enters anything.
Where do you find it in FieldXM?
In the FieldXM mobile app, your reps keep capturing offline, and FieldXM syncs each capture when the signal returns.
Once a capture syncs, it shows up in the event’s account workspace as a captured contact, and CRM write-back carries it to your CRM, conversation included.
