Booth visit

A booth visit is a recorded stop by an attendee at a company’s exhibit, an engagement signal that ranges in depth from a swag grab to a demo to a booked meeting.

Visits make up your show’s traffic count. If you score them, weight each visit by depth, with a booked meeting at the top and a swag grab at the bottom.

Why record a brief visit?

A brief stop still tells you an account was at the show and chose to engage. For a target account, that’s useful evidence even with no notes, and it gives the owner a reason to reach out. A scanned visit also counts as 2-way engagement, since the attendee had to present a badge.

How do you measure it?

  • Visits, the raw traffic count.
  • Visits from target accounts, which ties traffic to your plan.
  • Visits by depth, from swag grab to demo to meeting booked.

The count measures traffic. Event yield and cost per meeting measure what the traffic produced.

Where do you find it in FieldXM?

On the FieldXM mobile app, your rep captures a booth conversation by badge scan, business card scan, or manual entry. Then they give it a lead heat of Hot, Warm, or Cold.
