Voice note
A voice note is a short spoken memo a rep records about a conversation, usually right after it ends, to add context that the scan, the form, or the recording missed.
It holds your rep’s own account: what they noticed, what they promised, and who else should know. Because it takes seconds, your reps can record one on a busy floor, at a dinner table, or in a hallway.
How does it differ from a recorded conversation?
A recorded conversation captures the prospect’s words and starts with a recording disclosure. A voice note captures your rep’s recollection afterward, in their voice alone.
Use both: the recording for what the prospect said, and the voice note for your rep’s read and the commitments they made.
Where do voice notes matter most?
They matter most in conversations that never touch a scanner. At executive dinners and in hallway conversations, a short voice note attached to the right record is often the only capture your team has. Without one, the conversation becomes a capture failure.
Where do you find it in FieldXM?
After saving a capture in the FieldXM mobile app, your rep can record a voice note to add a thought on the way to the next conversation.
